When Oscar Met Sophia
Location: New York

Oscar de la Renta was a world-renowned fashion designer, revered for his couture-like ready-to-wear collections that have provided many a show-stopping, fabulous moment on the red carpet. His pieces are always so elegant, feminine and timeless, which I absolutely love. As a person who adores feminine clothes, I’ve always gravitated towards designers whom I feel fit my aesthetic and both Oscar de la Renta and Sophia Webster do just that for me.

British accessories designer Sophia Webster founded her eponymous label in 2012 and has become renowned for combining feminine design with a sophisticated approach, which I absolutely love. Her iconic butterfly heels have been an obsession of mine from the moment it hit the runways and was first introduced to the world of fashion. Am guilty of owning too many pairs in all the fabulous colors. I especially love the fantasy aspect of her heels and how whimsical I feel when I put on a pair.

Combined with this stunning chiffon leopard print suit by my beloved Oscar, I felt like a true Sex in the City girl as I strutted on the streets of New York City heading for cocktails with some friends. The minute Oscar met Sophia it was a magical love story. The two were a match made in heaven; one that was meant to be.

From head to toe I wore Prada sunglasses, Ruby Woo MAC lipstick, a leopard print Oscar de la Renta skirt suit with the top tucked into the skirt and styled to perfection with the most adorable brown leather belt with gold details on it. I finished the entire look with a metallic rose gold and white Evangeline sandals from Sophia Webster’s shoe collection which made it even more apparent that these two were indeed a match made in heaven. Look details are at the bottom of the page for your shopping pleasure. I hope you like to look darlings, and please feel free to share your thoughts. I absolutely love hearing from you.
