Couture Hat By Milli Starr

Hi darling, happy new week! Am so excited to tell you about a very special hat made for yours truly by Milli Starr. If you know me well then you are fully aware of my obsession with hats, sunglasses, and shoes. These are three things I will spend on like no other lol. If it’s not quality I don’t want it. 

I had recently purchased a pair of Dolce & Gabbana heels (click here) and wanted a beautiful hat to wear with it which lead to a collaboration with the amazingly talented Laura Del Villaggio of Milli Starr (click here)
After we talked about what I wanted, my hat designer took notes, went shopping and created this masterpiece designed specially for me. 

According to the brand, Milli Starr hats and headpieces are created from the finest handwoven straws and fur felts sourced from around the world. The brand often incorporate vintage trims from her personal collection such as Victorian feathers, luxe velvet ribbons, and silk veiling. Most are new-old-stock trims on the original wooden bolts from Switzerland or with fragile paper labels from Paris. 

These precious materials are meticulously shaped and sewn by hand using traditional couture methods. Milli Starr is known for exquisite craftsmanship and a vintage-inspired elegance that complements a modern wardrobe.

I love a classic, elegant look. I love the idea of mixing modern day luxury with vintage glamour. This hat was the perfect mixture of both which makes me love my couture hat even more.
