Hi Darling happy new month! I feel like am still celebrating my birthday even though it’s like two weeks later. I was having too much fun and didn’t get a chance to post this in time. January 18, was my birthday and I have to say being a woman in my thirties feels wonderful. As a matter of fact my sister Maima tells me Am taking form of my womanly body and it look FABULOUS so thank God for that.

I typically do a big trip on my birthday but let’s be honest, I always find a way to do a big trip even if it’s not my birthday lol. This year with all the stressors of 2018 , I wanted to take things slow, spend my birthday at home with my lover, family and close friends. My mother was preparing to traveled to Liberia for three months. Luckily for me, she made plans to leave on the 19th so she can spend my birthday with me.

I had a very small get together at my home in Delaware to celebrate my special day which turned out quite nicely. I literally only invited ten people whom I adore and catered a fabulous dining experience for us to enjoy with amazing drinks and good music. I had a fabulous time with my sisters, cousins and few friends and to be honest it was exactly what I needed.

The color pink seems to somehow always play a significant part in many occasion in my life. I seem to always gravitate to it whenever am in need of comfort and strength all at the same time. It’s interesting how when you loose a love one, you often find yourself holding on to even the smallest reminders of that person.

I often find myself always gravitating to the color pink because of my beloved Linda. Pink was her favorite color. She once owned a boutique lounge called “Lace” and its was the epitome of femininity. Lace was created for the LGBT community but mainly for the lesbian women and it was the most beautiful pink creation I’d ever laid eyes on.

For my birthday I wore a beautiful pink dress shot by my dear friend Michael king. My dress scream “Am Every Woman” and what a beautiful feeling it was. I wanted to feel fancy, elegant and celebrate my special day in a special color with the people I love both here on earth and in heaven. My beautiful pink dress represented that in a special way for me.

Life isn’t always fair or easy but we must always remember to look on the brighter side of things. Always do our very best with what we have. Anyone who truly knows me knows how much I love my birthday, it’s very important to me. Spending it with those who love me enough to share that moment with me was a blessing and I was over Joyed and truly grateful. Thank you ButterCup, Loretta, Carman, Ida, Marlee, Manu, Debra, Patti Cakes, Bryheem, and Sexy Tee for making my birthday this year a special one. I love you guys more then you will ever know.

Darlings, thank you so very much for stopping by and reading my blog. Thank you for your overwhelming support on all my social media platforms. Thank you for your presence, your kindness and your support thus far but most importantly thank you for your time because that’s the one thing you can never get back. You guys are helping me to grow everyday and am forever grateful. Until next time darlings CHEERS to life and endlessly possibilities.
